🗑 Delete: Ready Replies

The ‘🗑 Delete’ button is used to remove a ready reply that is no longer needed: it may be outdated, contain errors, or have been created for testing.

Deletion is irreversible. Once deleted, the reply disappears from scenarios and is no longer sent to clients.

What is this button?

When clicking ‘🗑 Delete’, the system requests confirmation. After confirmation, the ready reply is permanently deleted.

It disappears from the list of ready replies, from flowcharts, and from associations with buttons and triggers. If there were links or other messages leading to this reply, the connection is severed.

Why is this important for business?

  • Accuracy: Instead of keeping clutter, unnecessary replies can be removed.
  • Safety: An old reply with incorrect pricing or conditions will not accidentally reach a client.
  • Order: Only relevant replies remain in the list — it’s easier to navigate.
  • Testing: Temporary replies are deleted after verification.

When to use it?

  • Outdated promotion: The promotional campaign has ended, and the reply is no longer needed.
  • Incorrect reply: A test or draft that was accidentally saved.
  • Scenario change: An old scenario has been replaced by a new one, and old replies need to be deleted.
  • Cleanup before launch: Delete drafts, leaving only working replies.

Step-by-step usage

  1. Open the ready reply you want to delete.
  2. Click ‘🗑 Delete’.
  3. Confirm the deletion.
  4. Check that the reply has disappeared from the list and scenarios.

Example

A shop owner created a ready reply “🎄 New Year Promotion - 20% Discount”. The promotion ended in January. He clicks ‘🗑 Delete’, confirms — and the old reply will no longer appear in conversations. Clients will not see outdated offers.

Important nuances

  • Deletion is irreversible — the reply cannot be restored.
  • If the reply was linked with others (via link, button, or trigger), the connection is severed after deletion. Other replies are not deleted.
  • If unsure — it’s better not to delete, but to disable the reply or temporarily hide it.
  • For cleaning multiple replies, it’s better to delete them one by one.

Main point

‘🗑 Delete’ helps keep the list of ready replies organized. If a reply is no longer needed — it’s better to delete it to avoid accidentally sending outdated information to a client.
